A wine with a powerful colour structure of deep red with a crimson rim. Intense aromas of red fruits with a note of liquorice. Aromas of spice, balsam and oak, which are a result of ageing, nudge out from behind the fruit. The palate reminds of the oldest vinification methods and is wonderfully structured.

Vallemayor is a family bodega located in Fuenmayor, at the heart of Rioja Alta, where it has 60 hectares of estate-owned vineyards plus another 60 hectares of grower-owned vineyards over which the bodega exercises direct control.

They combine the most modern technologies with traditional values inherited from those that preceded them. By this, they achieve wines that continue to be the ultimate form of expression of their land.
